Guy was
quickly able to turn around this project with regard to vacancies
and lost revenues in addition to being able to provide "in
house" renovation service to a number of badly neglected apartments.
Other management projects include Meridian Bank, Midlantic
Bank, Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust, Integra Bank,
National Bank of the Main Line, Resolution Trust Corporation,
Standard Federal Bank. Continental Bank, Dechert Price & Rhodes,
Greater New York Savings, Coopers & Lybrand, First Bank of
Philadelphia, Liberty Bank, Shawmutt Bank, Federal Deposit
Insurance Corporation and numerous individual owners including
Jay Lamont.
More
recently, as Orens Brothers accomplishes their large condominium
conversions, Guy then takes the roll of property manager for
the resulting condominium associations that are formed from
these projects. He currently manages the Pitcairn, a 63 unit
condominium at 11th and Arch Streets and will be managing
the 2200 Arch Street Lofts, a 160+ unit condominium in Logan
Square.
Guy has
taken a number of courses offered at Temple University Real
Estate Institute and has a real estate brokers license. He
also guests lectures at Temple. Today, he is primarily involved
maintaining and expanding the real estate portfolio and developing
new management contracts and currently manages over 800 units
in University City and the greater Philadelphia area and is
considered the largest 3rd party property manager in West
Philadelphia.
Guy was
born and raised in Upper Dublin, Pennsylvania and graduated
from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science
Degree in 1978. He married Joan Sugarman in 1988 and has a
daughter, Ariel.
