Today, Jon heads the sales division of Orens Brothers Real
Estate, Inc. He is responsible for developing and marketing
effective and flexible strategies for both investment and
owner occupied properties. He has been instrumental in "putting
deals together" and making them work for all parties concerned
where other brokers would allow them to fall apart. He made
inroads into the real estate sales brokerage business at a
very difficult time and in a very difficult geographic market.
Jon sits
on the Board of Directors of the Greater Philadelphia Association
of Realtors (since 1995) and has been that Associations Treasurer,
Secretary and Vice President. He was the President of the
Association's West Council for two years, has received awards
and city council citations for his activity with the Association,
and currently has a GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute), an
ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative - he was, if fact, the
2nd Realtor in the city's history to obtain this designation)
and an SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) designations.
He teaches entry level real estate courses for aspiring real
estate licensees at Temple Real Estate Institute, and also
teaches for various non-profit organizations around the city
including The Partnership CDC and the Greater Philadelphia
Association of Realtors of which he specializes in ethics
training for new members orientation.
Jon
was born and raised in Upper Dublin, Pennsylvania and graduated
from Ursinus College in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
He has two sons, Daniel and Chad.
